The introduction of 03 new digital approaches, including the GovPay facility, to enable the public to make all government payments digitally is scheduled to be carried out today (07).
With the introduction of this new system under the patronage of President Anura Kumara Dissanayake, the President’s Media Division said that the public will be able to make all government payments digitally.
Explaining further in this regard, Deputy Minister of Digital Economic Affairs, Engineer Eranga Weeraratne,
He said that this payment facility will be introduced for 16 government services initially and that it is expected to be extended to 30 more institutions by April.
