The International Monetary Fund has announced that it has reached a staff-level agreement regarding the extended credit facility program approved for Sri Lanka. This was announced at a news conference attended by representatives of the International Monetary Fund held today in Colombo.
Accordingly, after the approval of the Executive Board of the International Monetary Fund, a financial installment of 337 million dollars is to be received.
The representatives of the International Monetary Fund have informed that the macro economic reforms implemented by Sri Lanka have started bearing fruit.
