“Good for Dudley, bad for the farmer, good for Dhammikala, bad for fultimer, good for Anura, bad for the village Jep members.”

On September 23rd, Anura Kumara’s government will complete two years, and since nothing has been done in the past two years, the President is preparing to go and sell Chun Pan across the country, said National Freedom Front leader and former Minister Wimal Weerawansa.

However, people eat Chun Pan only if they eat the other three meals well, and therefore, people who ate Chun Pan before the election cannot eat Chun Pan now.

He noted that the current politics in Sri Lanka is reminiscent of Venezuela, and that President Anura Kumara is leading a more corrupt government than President Delcy Rodrigo. He stated that the United States, which had overthrown the former president, was appointing Delcy Rodriguez as the interim ruler and was plundering Venezuela’s oil resources.

Something similar has happened in Sri Lanka and that the current government, which came to power after speaking out against Indian aggression, had signed seven agreements with India, disregarding the people’s will, and that no one knows what the contents of those agreements are.

He stated that the government was going to sign agreements with India and Western companies to develop the oil resources of the Mannar Basin, and that India and Western countries would do to us what America did to Venezuela.

He stated that the DO is being used to break the three-way alliance and to avenge the defeat of the LTTE. He further stated that the current government will not stop with the 22nd Amendment and will also touch upon the Temples and Devalayas Act.

He said that the government has said about the past two years, “Good for the Dudleys, but bad for the farmers, good for the Dammikala, but bad for the Pultimers, good for Anura, but bad for the village Jeppon.”
