A jeep driven by Ashoka Ranwala was involved in a car accident in the Sapugaskanda area of Denimalla at around 7.45 pm on the 11th when it collided with a Maruti car that was traveling on the road.
Three people, including a small child, from the car that was involved in the accident were hospitalized, while Ashoka Ranwala was also hospitalized for treatment after sustaining injuries. He was arrested by the police while in the hospital and granted bail at the hospital.
