According to the report, the notorious Sri Lankan underworld leader Sinharage Saminda Silva alias Kudu Anju, who was arrested in France, has been released on the orders of the French court.
Dehiwala – ‘Kudu Anju’, who was wanted for many organized crimes including the murder of Mr. Ranjan de Silva, large-scale drug trafficking, was arrested in France in April. The International Police had also issued a red notice for the arrest of him, who led drug trafficking and underworld activities in this country from France.
