A police constable has been arrested on charges of obstructing investigations into the Easter Sunday attacks. He was arrested by officers of the Criminal Investigation Department in the Karadiyanaru area today.
He has been charged with obstructing investigations into the killing of two police officers in Batticaloa in November 2018. The arrested police constable was previously attached to the State Intelligence Service, it was reported.
