The Colombo Permanent High Court today (31) ordered the death penalty to be imposed on former Defense Secretary Hemasiri Fernando on charges of culpable homicide and attempted murder for failing to prevent the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks.
The same court also sentenced former IGP Pujith Jayasundara to death today on the same charge.
