The Embilipitiya paper mill, which had been closed for a long time due to administrative problems, reopened today . Sabaragamuwa Provincial Governor Naveen Dissanayake and the participation of a group of Ministers opened the factory today.
Embilipitiya factory, which started as the second paper factory in Sri Lanka in 1978, had to be closed in 2013 due to inefficient administration. Anunin Holdings has taken over the responsibility of re-commissioning the plant. Accordingly, the production of paper is to be started again in this factory.
