Former Minister Duminda Dissanayake, who was sent to the prison hospital after being remanded, has been sent back to the Magazine Prison, the Prison Media Spokesperson’s Office says.
The suspect, Duminda Dissanayake, who was sent to the prison hospital for treatment on court orders, was sent back to the Magazine Prison after being examined by a specialist doctor, Prison Media Spokesperson Gamini B. Dissanayake also confirmed.
The former minister, who was arrested last Friday in connection with the discovery of a gold-plated T-56 firearm in a Wellawatte apartment complex, was remanded after being produced in court the next day.
