Venerable Galagoda Aththe Gnanasara, Secretary of the Bodu Bala Sena, has requested the public to contribute at least Rs. 100 to a national donation fund that he says he is launching today (23).
He stated that in the past he earned money by delivering Dhamma sermons, but at present he has no source of income.
He further said that he is prepared to go on alms rounds to collect money for the fund and that he intends to take legal action against individuals who insult him and make false allegations. He explained that this donation fund has been started for that purpose.
