A doctor has filed a writ petition with the Court of Appeal seeking an interim order preventing his arrest pending the completion of the investigation into the complaint filed against him with the police.
The petition, naming the Galle Police OIC and a group of respondents, was filed by a doctor named Krishantha Rodney Perera.
He claims in the petition that a nurse working at the Galle Karapitiya Hospital has filed a false complaint against him at the Galle Police, alleging sexual assault.
