Samagi Jana Balawega Member of Parliament Nalin Bandara states that the reports that opposition leader Sajith Premadasa’s request to meet Iranian President Ibrahim Raisi, who was visiting the country, has been rejected is false.
He also mentioned that the Iranian embassy in Colombo had not set a time for the opposition leader to meet the Iranian president.
He also said that the opposition leader did not attend the dinner hosted by President Ranil Wickremesinghe for the President of Iran because he never attends dinners hosted by President Ranil Wickremesinghe. The MP made these comments while addressing Parliament today.
