According to the party’s sources, opposition leader Sajith Premadasa has decided to appoint Mujibur Rahman as a National List Member of Parliament of Samagi Jana Balavega, after the Supreme Court abolished the position of Member of Parliament held by Diana Gamage.
Contested the Colombo district in the last general election and was elected to Parliament
Mujibur Rahman resigned from that position to contest as the Mayoral candidate of Colombo. He was replaced by A.H.M. Fauci is currently supporting the government
