Sri Lankan international cricketer Dhanushka Gunathilaka was acquitted of the case of sexually abusing an Australian girl by Judge Sarah Huggett today.
The hearing of this case, which was heard before the Sydney Downing Center District Court, was completed on the 22nd, and the verdict was announced today.
Dhanushka Gunathila was accused of sexually abusing a woman she met through a social media application called Tinder. Four charges were initially filed against him, three of which were later withdrawn.
