IGP Deshabandhu Tennakoon, who had been evading court for several days, surrendered to the Matara Magistrate’s Court this morning.
The petition he had filed with the Court of Appeal seeking to quash the warrant issued for his arrest was rejected last Monday, after which he appeared and surrendered.
