CPC workers are on a satyagraha

The petroleum union union says that the new restructuring proposals of the government will attempt to break up the petroleum corporation into pieces and privatize it. Against this, the employees of the corporation will start a satyagraha today at the Kolonnawa premises, and a spokesman said that the unions have decided to go on a continuous hunger strike if an acceptable solution is not provided by the government.

The union says that there is no hindrance in the process of distribution of petrolium product due to this Satyagraha.
