The Court of Appeal, which set aside a decision by the Colombo High Court acquitting five defendants, including Navy personnel, who were charged in the murder of former Tamil National Alliance MP Nadarajah Raviraj, has issued an order to retrial the case.
The Court of Appeal announced this decision after hearing an appeal filed by the Attorney General challenging the decision of the Colombo High Court acquitting the defendants.
