The Criminal Investigation Department (CID) has today recorded a statement from Professor Maithri Wickremesinghe, wife of former President Ranil Wickremesinghe.
It is reported that the statement was recorded in connection with a case currently being heard regarding the former President’s visit to England. The statement was recorded by CID officers who visited her home this morning (24).
