Defence Secretary Air Vice Marshal Sampath Thuiyakontha (Retd) says that the current government will not continue to maintain the post of Chief of Defence Staff.
Addressing a media briefing today (29), he said that his government does not expect to continue the post of Chief of Defence Staff and that the relevant work will be carried out by the Ministry of Defence.
