Charith Abeysinghe, who was recently remanded in custody for failing to meet bail conditions, was reportedly released on bail today (30).
The Colombo Magistrate’s Court granted bail to three suspects including attorney Rakhitha Rajapaksa and Charith Abeysinghe, who were remanded in custody in connection with an incident involving the wife of an organized criminal named Nandun Chinthaka, on the morning of the 28th.
However, the suspect Charith Abeysinghe was re-arrested due to his inability to meet the bail conditions.
