Minister Nalinda Jayatissa said in Parliament today that the statement made by Parliamentarian Chamara Sampath Dassanayake that 7 million rupees were spent on the inaugural ceremony of the government’s ‘Clean Sri Lanka’ program is false.
The Minister said that only 900,000 rupees have been approved as payments for the program and that the payments have not been made yet. He stressed that estimates were called for this and that no illegal actions have been taken
