Due to rising production costs, cement companies have increased the price of a 50kg bag of cement by 100 rupees.
With this price revision, the cost of a 50kg bag of cement which previously ranged between 2,100 and 2,250 rupees has now risen to between 2,200 and 2,350 rupees.
The companies state that this price hike was unavoidable given the increase in costs associated with cement production.
This price increase will lead to a further rise in construction costs.
