Member of Parliament Namal Rajapaksa says that there is nothing wrong with granting permission to decorate buses and three-wheelers in a way that does not pose a danger to the public, subject to a certain set of rules.
He said that decorating buses and three-wheelers is a separate industry in Sri Lanka and there is nothing wrong with introducing it as an art. However, he emphasized that there should be no possibility of harming the public during the modernization of buses and three-wheelers.
The MP also said that the laws for violating traffic rules and acts that cause inconvenience to the public should be implemented in the same way.
