The All Ceylon Buddhist Federation states that it is ready to submit a bill to the Parliament to legalize homosexuality. Accordingly, the National Advisory Council under the said federations has decided to protest the said act and inform the political authority about it.
A discussion in this regard has been held in the All Ceylon Buddhist Conference. Reverend Anamaduwe Dhammadassi Thero, the deputy leader of the Asgiri faction, who participated in it, said that they should gather as a group and protest the President regarding this preparation.
