According to the report, a popular actress has been summoned to the Kandy Division Criminal Investigation Unit to record her statement regarding the running of a brothel at her home.
Based on the information received by the unit, four women who were there at the time of the raid and allegedly engaged in prostitution and three persons who ran the business were arrested.
This house is located in Aniwatta area of Kandy and the police have confirmed that the owner of the house is the actress from the electricity bills.
