Boeing sued over Air India crash

A lawsuit has been filed against Boeing over the Air India crash that killed 260 people. The lawsuit has been filed by the families of four passengers who died in the crash.

Foreign media reported that aircraft parts manufacturer Honeywell has been named as a co-defendant in the lawsuit filed against Boeing.

An Air India passenger plane that had started its journey from Ahmedabad Airport in India to London’s Gatwick Airport in June crashed shortly after takeoff.

All but one passenger on board, as well as all but one crew member and people in the area where the plane crashed, were killed, along with more than 260 people.
