The police have stepped up security near the Sri Lanka Freedom Party headquarters on Daly Road in Colombo.
Its General Secretary Dayasiri Jayasekara had requested the Sri Lanka Freedom Party members to come to their party headquarters this morning (05).
It is reported that this decision was taken on the assumption that there would be a disturbance at that place.
