National People’s Power Leader Member of Parliament Anura Dissanayake states that he is shocked and saddened by the violence launched by the Janata Vimukti Peremun during the terror period of 1988-89.
Answering a question asked by a person who was present at a public meeting held in Toronto, Canada, he said that the situation was not something that arose without reson . He further to said that many things happened there that should not have happened.
