Gampaha District Secretary Lalinda Gamage says that the people of Dompe, Biyagama, and Kelaniya should evacuate as soon as possible.
He further stated that the warnings were issued as the current minor flood situation has the potential to escalate into a major flood situation in a few hours.
The District Secretary also stated that the necessary steps are currently being taken to evacuate the people living there.
