Venerable Ampitiye Sumanarathana Thero, who was arrested by the Batticaloa Police yesterday and produced before the court, has been remanded until today (08).
The Thero was arrested in connection with an incident in which he allegedly obstructed the duties of the officers of the Geological Survey and Mines Bureau in Batticaloa.
