The “American Commission on International Religious Freedom” says that religious freedom has been hindered in Sri Lanka.
The commission points out that the attention of the US State Department should be directed to those human rights violations, publishing the report related to the year 2023.
The American Commission on International Religious Freedom has shown in its report that the religious freedom of Hindus and Muslims in Sri Lanka has been violated in particular.
Also, they have further revealed in their report that some religious leaders in this country have been jailed. In addition to Sri Lanka, it is mentioned in the report that religious freedom has been hindered in Afghanistan, China, Nigeria and Nicaragua.
