A way for vehicle owners with number plate problems to obtain fuel.

Under the new system of issuing fuel according to the last digit of the vehicle number plate, the Commissioner General of Motor Transport informs vehicle owners to keep an approved document with them to verify the identity of the vehicle.

However, due to the delay in issuing official number plates by the Department of Motor Transport due to procurement difficulties in the past, some vehicle owners are using various types of temporary number plates, he added, adding that this step has been taken to avoid problems that may arise in verifying identity at fuel stations.

Accordingly, vehicle owners should present the vehicle revenue license, vehicle registration certificate (book), vehicle insurance certificate and vehicle smoke test certificate as one of the official documents when necessary.
