The Anuradhapura Criminal Investigation Division has reportedly taken into custody three locally made bombs from the house of a former commando soldier in the Matale Junction area of Anuradhapura.
The raid was carried out on a tip-off received by the police and the former commando officer in question was also arrested by the police.
The Anuradhapura Criminal Investigation Division has handed over the bombs to the Police Special Task Force officers for detonation.
