A demonstration organized by the Joint Center of Unemployed Graduates was held in front of Fort Railway Station yesterday.
The agitators protested there by displaying slogans stating that according to the proposals of the International Monetary Fund, recruitment to the public service should not be stopped and that all graduates should be provided with jobs regardless of age.
Also, they are urging the authorities to provide the jobs that were promised before and not to belittle the degree.
Even now, more than 1.5 million people are working in the public service and their effectiveness is being seriously criticized. At the same time, there is huge unemployment in the private sector.
