Anupa Pascual, Minister of State for Social Empowerment, says that it is planned to provide a pension to the self-employed. Attending a press conference, he mentioned that the relevant program has already been submitted to the Ministry of Finance.
The minister further said that his ministry has planned to empower 12 lakh people accordingly.
The minister also mentioned that a program will be started to give certificates to the professionals who do not have certificates under his ministry with a short training and an examination.
