A maid in Keheliya’s house has been arrested.

A woman who worked as a maid in the house of former Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has been arrested by officers of the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption.

The arrest was made when the maid appeared before the Commission to Investigate Allegations of Bribery or Corruption to obtain a statement regarding the misuse of government salaries and overtime allowances in the appointment of the Ministry of Health.

The arrested woman was produced before Colombo Chief Magistrate Thanuja Lakmali who ordered her to be remanded until the 17th.
