“University non-academic staff are currently on strike. This is unfortunate. This will affect the future generation of students. Due to these professional actions, there is a direct financial loss of around 150 million rupees. It should be said that it is a waste of 1.8 million people’s time. That 1.1 billion rupees will be required for the next six months to fulfill the demands of these trade unions, including the wage increase.
