Police raided a place used for drug manufacturing in the Weligama area of Galle and found a young foreigner suspected of manufacturing the drug ice.
Police say they also found methamphetamine, suspected of being used to manufacture the drug ice, in his possession. An 18-year-old Maltese national has been arrested.
