A multi-day fishing boat carrying over 100 Myanmar nationals has arrived at the Mullaitivu coast today (19). It has been revealed that there are nearly 25 children among the group.
It is further reported that this group has arrived at the Mullaitivu coast while being illegally taken from Myanmar to another country on a multi-day boat.
The police and the Navy have provided food and water to the group on the boat. The Defense says that the steps to be taken regarding the boat and the passengers are being considered.
