87 acres are given to a company from Nndagam in Maduvanwala

It is reported that the Cabinet has given its approval to give a land located in Maduwanala Nedagama Estate of Panamura Grama Niladhari Domain of Embilipitiya Divisional Secretariat of Ratnapura District to the Lanka Tobacco Company (CTC) for forestation project.

This 87 acre piece of land is owned by the Land Reform Commission and has been given to Ceylon Tobacco Company for a 30-year afforestation project.

The Cabinet Office said that the approval was given after carefully evaluating the project report submitted by the company.
