A contingent of 600 Special Task Force (STF) personnel has been dispatched to quell the recent spate of shootings and underworld activities occurring across the island. The police have been closely monitoring these incidents and taking measures to suppress them.
According to reports, multiple teams from the Special Task Force will be deployed to swiftly respond to the escalating shootings, particularly in the western and southern provinces.
To facilitate this operation, a team comprising 600 STF members has been deployed. Their strategy involves implementing immediate roadblocks to monitor traffic and conducting emergency raids in the coming days.
