According to the report, more than 60 inmates have escaped amid a conflict at the Kandakadu Treatment and Rehabilitation Center.
According to the Commissioner General of Rehabilitation, at least 19 people have been injured in the conflict between the detainees. Authorities have launched an operation to find and arrest the fugitives.
