Police Media Spokesperson Assistant Superintendent of Police L.U. Wutler stated that about 400 corrupt police officers have been dismissed from service in the past.
At a workshop held at the Government Information Department, he said that most of those dismissed were accused of drug abuse. In the recent past, more than a hundred police officers have been suspended for these same charges.
