The death toll from the earthquake that hit Venezuela is rising rapidly, and 3342 bodies have been recovered from the rubble so far, according to foreign media.
It is reported that more than 41,000 people are missing, and accordingly, the death toll is likely to increase further in the future.
On June 24, Venezuela was hit by two powerful earthquakes that occurred 34 seconds apart. It is reported that more than 16,000 people are already receiving treatment in hospitals. The property damage has not yet been assessed.
