A 27 Sri Lankan who was staying illegally in Indonesia has been arrested by the country’s immigration officials. The man was arrested for violating immigration laws while staying at several apartments in Tangerang, Jakarta.
Tangerang Immigration chief Rakha Sukma Purnama said the arrest was made following a complaint from nearby residents that they were uneasy about the presence of Sri Lankans in the flats.
