The Sripura Police has started investigations to find a suspect who took more than 26 lakh rupees by threatening a government official by sharing her nude photos with her husband’s social media account.
The complainant civil servant, who is a resident of Kuliapitiya area, has been in an extramarital relationship for some time and on several occasions she has given her nude photos to her extramarital lover.
She was persuaded to deposit money into her bank account on several occasions by saying that the suspect would show the nude photos to her husband. The complainant has told the police that the suspect has been threatening her since 2019 and took money in this way.
