Former MP Premanath C. Dolawatta states that drivers who drive under the influence of alcohol will have to be given 24 hours to check their blood pressure in the future.
He said this in response to the delay of about a day in the investigation into the alcohol consumption at the time of the accident of former Speaker Ashoka Ranwala.
He also said that there is a problem with the law and order due to a former Speaker and said that the police media spokesperson appeared very helpless when asked about this matter.
