The Auditorgenaral has reported that four major alcohol-producing establishments have failed to pay the excise duty amounting to 2389 million rupees over the past five years.
According to the 2022 report of the Auditorgenaral , three out of the four companies have agreed to settle the excise tax and associated administrative fees before the transfer. However, these payments have not been made up to the present time.
