The Navy’s media spokesperson said that 11 sailors on board the Sri Lanka Navy vessel Dora, which was capsized in the sea near Angulana, have been admitted to hospital so far. He also said that the Sri Lanka Air Force has been assisting in the rescue operations.
It is reported that the Air Force has already deployed an MI 17 helicopter and a Bell 412 aircraft to monitor the stricken naval vessel.
