Dayasiri Jayasekara, the former General Secretary of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, states that he has received invitations from a number of parties for upcoming political activities, and has not yet committed to anyone.
However, the MP said that negotiations are ongoing with those parties and he expects to travel together with a group that can lead the country strongly for the next five years.
However, even though his membership in the Sri Lanka Freedom Party has been suspended, he said that since he is still a member of the Sri Lanka Freedom Party, he will support any decision taken by the party at this moment while attending a press conference held in Colombo.
